Ryan Matthews
Ryan's just a regular guy with a small problem: too many girls. That may not seem like a problem for a strapping young lad like Ryan, but too many is too many. Ryan is a humor columnist for the local paper in Franklin, and as such, he gets sufficient time off of work, running only three columns a week. The girls keep him occupied in the time he's not working.

Jennifer Hughes
Jennifer (only Ryan gets to call her Jenn) works at the bookstore "Turn the Page" as a manager, meaning she's around books most of her time. Books instead of people. This affects her relationships with the people that she does get to be around. Her boyfriend Eric isn't too fond of Ryan, but then again, lately he hasn't been too fond of Jennifer either. But they'll make up before the day is done. They always seem to, at least.

Dana Van Der Mere
One of the guys. That's how anyone would describe Dana. She loves sports, getting a few beers with the guys, playing pool, catch, two-hand touch football, rough games of basketball... all that good stuff. Sometimes it's easy to forget that she's a she by the way she acts. Dana's the coordinator and coach for a youth softball league and also a personal trainer.

Melissa Beckett
Melissa's a photographer. She's one of those lucky people who gets to do what they love in life and make a living off of it. She puts together coffee table books, shoots for independent magazines, freelances for the local newspaper and does model shoots, but she's hoping to put together something up to her standards that'll be displayed somewhere other than just her apartment.

Erin Chatsworth
Double-majoring in Business and Economics made Erin a whiz at the subjects, but now the weight of the professional world has crashed down on her, and she's becoming more bitter every day. Swamped with work, she doesn't have much time for a social life, and even less for a love life. She's constantly in need of someone to vent to.

Kati Kilborne
Freelance video editing is what Kati knows best, and she's probably better at it than most of the people starting out in the field. She's edited everything from political commercials to porn. She keeps odd hours and is cooped up in a dark room for most of the time she's awake, though. She just says that it makes her more interesting. She's also a master interrogator, especially when it comes to Ryan.
