A few more character sheets coming your way in the next few weeks. This week we examine Jennifer. Only Ryan gets to call her Jenn, so it's Jennifer to you, bub. You know, I probably don't say this enough, but I'm just in LOVE with Nicki's style for the characters. I never imagined that they'd look this good.

I originally started drawing Nothing But Friends (back then it was just Nothing But) back in 2002, but realized quickly that I couldn't possibly do the characters justice drawing it by myself. That's when I asked Nicki if she wanted to draw the comic, since she had already read the scripts that I had written so far. She said yes and the peasants rejoiced. Hell, *I* rejoiced, too. I gave her my original sketches and told her that those were what I had in mind, but my pathetic drawing style lacked what was needed to bring it to life. What she came up with was pure magic. And you'll get to see the character sheets for the rest of the girls in the coming weeks before we get back to the story.

Also, before I go, I want to plug a webcomic. It's called Vendetta, and it's stunning artistically. I had a lengthy conversation with the artist, Mike Baranger, and he explained the entire process of how the comic is made. There's a different style of art for each of the 7 chapters that there've been so far. Each one is a bit more experimental than the last. The story is very compelling, too, to round out the package. Give it a look!
