Hello, Internets! It is Nicki, your reclusive artist.

I'm not sure what it is that I'm supposed to say in this thing, so we'll talk about this week's comic. I had already started drawing it months ago, but--as we found last week--I completely misplaced it. This week I found it, but in the meantime I'd decided on a better way of going about things. Jenn was standing in the original, so it didn't make sense that she would need Ryan to hand books to her. So I moved her to the floor, and doing so I needed to redo the panels of them conversing because Ryan's eyeline dropped down several feet. The only panel I retained from the original is the fourth, the profile shot of Jenn. Her hair is hard to draw, with all those segments I decided looked so neat.

Oh, and I know I promised inking, but it turns out my really fine pen is dried up, and I can't trust myself not to obliterate facial features with anything thicker. Sorry, loves, you'll have to deal with my scribbly pencils for a bit longer.

In other news: I spent an obscene amount of money on a Blue Beetle action figure this week, and I continue to be nauseated by the goings-on in this OMAC Project they've got going on. Way to piss on continuity, DC! You made me love you and hate you all in the same two months.
